Florida scumbag accused of raping 4-year-old girl

Florida

Porn suspect charged with sexual battery of 4-year-old girl:

Reason to Blow Up the World...

BARTOW - Polk County Sheriff's Office detectives have arrested a Bartow man on charges that he sexually assaulted a 4-year-old girl in the process of creating child pornography.

Daryl James McClelland, 55, was arrested Friday on the child pornography charges, according to a Sheriff's Office report.

Detectives added to the list of charges after their investigation revealed that a little girl the suspect reportedly knows was molested while some sexually explicit images of the child were being created.

After detectives and investigators with the sheriff's Computer Crimes Unit served a search warrant Friday and found several images of child pornography, McClelland was charged with 60 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of accessing a computer without authority.

According to the Sheriff's Office, as detectives worked to identify the children in the images, they identified one of the victims as a 4-year-old girl who had been left in McClelland's care while the little girl's mother worked.

A Sheriff's Office arrest affidavit accuses McClelland of sexually abusing the girl multiple times in 2008 and 2009 and creating the child pornography using her image.

During an interview with detectives and after being read his rights, McClelland admitted that he engaged in sexual activity with the girl on multiple occasions, according to the affidavit. The suspect told detectives he stopped the activity "with the victim when she reached the age at which she had verbal capacity and might disclose this activity," the affidavit stated.

In addition to the pornography charges, McClelland is charged with eight counts of sexual battery on a victim under 12 years of age, five counts of lewd molestation and one count of battery on a child by contact with bodily fluids.

Now when I post a story like this over at PBB the question that is usually asked is why would the mother leave their child with someone like this? Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, who is one of my favorite Sheriffs, provides us with the answer...

Detectives say McClelland encouraged the child's parents to allow him to babysit rather than trust child care organizations.  It's being called a classic case of a child predator grooming a parent to get access to a child.

"This man needs to be put away for ever and ever and we need to find the other victims," he said.

The sheriff went on to say McClelland admitted to detectives that he first sexually abused a child when he was 12 years old.

So basically this scumbag, McClelland, thinks that he didn't do anything wrong since his victim would supposedly forget any of this ever happened to her. For the love of God I hope he's right.

I don't want to open a can of whupass points on Florida because of this story but they leave me no choice.

60 points for the child porn charges, eight points for the sexual battery charges, five points for the molestation charges, one point for the charge of battery on a child by contact with bodily fluids which I don't even want to know what that is, another point for saying the victim won't remember what happened to her, one more point for saying that you stopped before the victim could communicate to her parents what you did, and 43 more points for the amount of years that you've allegedly been molesting children.  That's 119.

Congratulations, you're the first scumbag to break the 100+ point barrier. You're the Wilt Chamberlain of News of Doom. Not something to be proud of.

Nod of Doom to Claudia.

4 dead in Thanksgiving shooting

Florida

4 relatives shot dead at Thanksgiving party in Jupiter:

Reason to Blow Up the World...

JUPITER - Three women and a child in bed were shot to death during a family Thanksgiving gathering in South Florida and a male relative was being sought early Friday.

Jupiter Police Sgt. Scott Pascarella said officers were looking for Paul Michael Merhige, 35, of Miami. Merhige is a cousin of the 6-year-old victim, Makayla Sitton, and has no criminal record, police said.

Police across South Florida and the U.S. Marshals Service were searching for Merhige. Pascarella said Merhige is believed to be driving a blue 2007 4-door Toyota Camry with Florida license plate W42 7JT.

Authorities said a fifth victim, Merhige's brother-in-law Patrick Knight, was being treated at a hospital. His condition was not available. Another man, Clifford Gebara, 52, was grazed by a bullet and was treated by paramedics on the scene and released.

The others killed were Merhige's twin sisters, Carla Merhige and Lisa Knight, 33, and an aunt, Raymonde Joseph, 76, according to police.

Jupiter Police Sgt. Scott Pascarella said officers were looking for Paul Michael Merhige, 35, of Miami. Merhige is a cousin of the 6-year-old victim, Makayla Sitton, and has no criminal record, police said.

Police said 17 relatives were in the house when the shootings were reported around 10 p.m.

More details...

"I've been waiting 20 years to do this," Merhige announced to one relative, according to Jim Sitton, whose 6-year-old daughter was the last one killed.

Moments later, Sitton said, Merhige barged into 6-year-old Makayla Sitton's room and shot her five times in her bed, executing what police say was his final victim while her father tried in vain to break through the window from outside.

"He didn't even know her," Sitton, a cameraman for WPTV-Channel 5, said in an interview Saturday. "He purposely walked down the hallway, opened her dark room and shot her five times. What kind of monster does that? What kind of evil?"

Merhige, a 35-year-old Miami-area resident said to have a history of mental problems and an ongoing grudge against several family members, was still being hunted by federal and local law enforcement Saturday night, believed to be armed and highly volatile.

But court records indicate he had a troubled relationship with his sister Carla Merhige, who was among those killed Thursday.

In 1998 Carla filed a domestic violence complaint against her brother in civil court, and in 2006 he reciprocated with one against her. Neither were ever charged criminally, however.

I'm not a big fan of the holidays. I don't have a lot in common with a lot of my extended family members so I always feel awkward. There have been feuds in my family as well. However in the 41 years that I've been in my family not one of us, and we are a bit touched in the head, have ever decided to slaughter a big chunk of the family at a holiday get together.

One point for each victim killed (4), another two points for each victim wounded, one more point that at last check you were still on the run like a coward, one more point for being a coward who allegedly beats his own sister, another point for being a nutjob, and one last point for obviously setting this up before the get together. That's 10.

Please resist arrest when they catch you.

1 dead, 4 wounded in Orlando workplace shooting

Florida

Suspect in Orlando shooting spree charged with first-degree murder:

Reason to Blow Up the World...

Orlando, Florida (CNN) -- A 40-year-old man accused of killing one and wounding five in a shooting at a business where he once worked was charged Friday with first-degree murder, police said.

"I'm just going through a tough time right now, I'm sorry," the 40-year-old suspect who had recently declared bankruptcy allegedly told police as he was taken into custody.

Authorities identified the suspect as Jason Rodriguez, a former employee of Reynolds Smith & Hills, whose offices are located in the 16-story Gateway Center building.

The incident began at 11:44 a.m., when Rodriguez entered the business' eighth-floor reception area, said Lt. Louis Tanzi, violent crimes section commander for the Orlando Police Department.

"He produced a handgun and started shooting in the reception area and continued shooting in the entire office area until he left," he told reporters.

According to the charging affidavit, the fatality occurred when Rodriguez entered the suite, pulled a handgun from a holster under his shirt and shot twice at an employee who was standing near the receptionist's desk.

He then entered a common work area "firing multiple rounds and causing injuries to several other employees," it says, citing a witness.

He then left in a car, described by witnesses as a small, silver compact vehicle, the affidavit says.

Police went to his residence where they found a 2001 four-door silver Hyundai, it says.

As police were disabling the car, Rodriguez appeared at the window of the residence, his hands in the air, and surrendered without incident, the affidavit says.

Asked by a reporter why he allegedly committed the crime, Rodriguez, escorted by police, said, "They left me to rot."

Paraded in front of reporters outside the police station, he said, "Innocent."

A company spokesman said Rodriguez had been let go from the company two years ago for "performance issues."

Ken Jacobson, the chief financial officer and chief legal counsel for Reynolds, Smith & Hills, said that Rodriguez was hired as an "engineer one," which he described as a "beginning engineer."

"His work performance was pretty deficient from the start," he said.

"We tried to work with his performance for 11 months and when he didn't improve, we let him go in June of 2007."

The affidavit describes apparently conflicting reasons for his departure. Rodriguez told a detective that he had resigned from the company after five years there to get a better job, it says. But it adds, "Rodriguez stated that people at RS&H, the Orlando Office, harassed him and threw him out for no reason at all, making it look like incompetency."

He told police that, after a year and a half of unemployment, he found work at a Subway Restaurant, but was not given enough hours so he filed for unemployment, according to the affidavit. "Rodriguez felt the people at RS&H were hindering his efforts to obtain unemployment benefits," it adds. "Rodriguez stated he was expecting an unemployment check but it did not come as expected. Rodriguez stated he felt he was forced into a situation where he could no longer provide for his family."

You know, I've been let go from more than one position and some not justifiably either. After some I went into deep bouts of depression and was even at the point of contemplating suicide. But never once did I ever consider taking up arms and killing people that worked at those positions. And like most mass shooters I doubt he even targeted those he felt wronged him. Instead he shot people that more than likely had nothing to do with his firing. Not like that would make it justified anyway.

One point for each of your victims (6), another point for being an obvious failure at life, a point for each year you've held this grudge (2), another point for blaming your own deficincies on others, and one last point for trying to claim innocence when you were seen by a plethora of witnesses. That's 11.

If you think your old job left you to rot just wait.

Nod of Doom to Bonnie.

Florida teens laugh after setting teen on fire

Florida

Police: Boys Laughed After Setting 15-year-old on Fire:

Reason to Blow Up the World...

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. -- A teenage squabble over a video game and a bicycle blossomed into revenge during a chance encounter and ended in the near-fatal torching of a 15-year-old Deerfield Beach boy.

Some of the teens charged in the blaze laughed when investigators confronted them about the attack, the Broward Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

Four 15-year-old boys and one's 13-year-old brother accosted Michael Brewer and condemned him as a snitch for calling the cops on their leader, whom the Sheriff's Office identified as the local bully.

Brewer tried to leave. They doused him with alcohol and set him afire.

Flames burned 80 percent of his body, especially his torso and arms, and seared off much of his hair, including his eyebrows, family members said.

Matthew Bent, 15, told his accomplices to "pour it on him," investigators said, based on their interviews with the suspects.

Brewer tore off his shirt and jumped in an apartment complex pool.

He later was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's burn center, where he is listed in critical condition with mostly second-degree burns.

According to Broward Sheriff's Sgt. Steve Feeley, the feud started when Brewer borrowed $40 from Bent to buy a video game.

He never paid him back. In return Bent tried to steal a custom, $500 bike belonging to Brewer's father Sunday night. Brewer called police, and Bent was arrested as he tried to run off with the bike.

About 3 p.m., Bent met up with four friends: brothers Denver and Jeremy Jarvis, 15 and 13 respectively; Steven Shelton, 15; and Jesus Mendez, 15. All are from Pompano Beach but Shelton, who lives in Deerfield Beach. The neighborhood shared by the teens straddles the two cities.

Near a wall by the Lime Tree Apartments the boys found a bottle of rubbing alcohol, police said. They entered the complex's pool area and by chance came upon Brewer, who was waiting for a friend.

Brewer tried to walk away. Deputies said the group surrounded him.

"Snitch, snitch!" taunted Bent, who ordered Denver Jarvis to pour the alcohol on Brewer, according to investigators.

They said Mendez took a lighter from his pocket and flicked it at the drenched teen. Brewer and a bush nearby caught fire instantly. Covered in flames, Brewer ran 150 yards to the pool and jumped in. When a rescue team arrived he was sitting in a pool chair.

Of course family is saying that some of the boys are nice boys...

"I know my brothers didn't intentionally try to hurt anyone," said Danielle Jarvis, 19, whose brothers, Denver, 15, and Jeremy, 13, were arrested Monday night. "Now, they're in a real spot. I'm scared for them."

Danielle Jarvis said her brothers were hanging with a bad crowd in a bad neighborhood, but she never thought any of them were capable of the crime that left Brewer hospitalized with burns over two-thirds of his body.

"My brothers don't go around lighting people on fire," she said. "I don't know what possessed any of those kids to do that."

No one goes around setting people on fire. You only get to do that once. Your brothers did nothing to stop the burning nor did they offer assistance to the victim. That's just as bad as if they set the fire themselves.

One point each for every teen maggot involved (5), another 2 points since at least more than one of them laughed about it, another point for the act itself, one more point since this happened over something as petty as $40, another point for the excuses being made, one more point for the fact that Michael Brewer has been burned over 2/3 of his body, another point for Denver Jarvis having the middle name of Colorado (Really?), and one last point for none of them having been charged as adults yet. That's 12.

Nod of Doom to Red Alerts.

Shifty Florida DJ kills teen girlfriend

Florida

Police: DJ Kills Teen, Drives Body Around:

DJ Seasunz Denied Bond:

Reason to Blow Up the World...

DORAL, Fla. -- A South Florida disc jockey has been charged with murder in the death of an FIU freshman after he drove to the Miami-Dade Police Department in Doral with the dead victim in his car, police said.

According to investigators, 30-year-old Juan Carlos Portieles confessed that he choked his girlfriend to death during an argument. He then told officers her body was inside his car parked in the police parking lot, investigators said.

Portieles also admitted that he drove around for hours with the victim's body in the passenger seat before turning himself in to police, according to investigators.

The victim was identified as 18-year-old Jaclyn Torrealba, a recent graduate of Braddock Senior High in Miami.

Portieles was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was held in an area designated for inmates who are mentally or physically injured.

It gets worse...

Meanwhile, CBS news blog Crimesider talked to Jaclyn's cousin Daniela Torrealba, who said the family found the couple's two-year relationship, which began when Jaclyn was 16, "disturbing" and that it had "issues because he was so much older."

They also confirm what we reported yesterday, that the 30 year-old Portieles seemed to surround himself with underage girls.

I haven't met a lot of DJs in my time but the ones that I have met it's a wonder how they stay out of jail. Much like DJ Scumbag here they like to surround themselves with teeny boppers and they also do in an inordinate amount of drugs. And why do they all call themselves DJ Somethingorother. Like all the records and equipment doesn't give that away. Now I'm not saying all DJs are like that but a lot of them are. And the first person to call them musicians gets slapped with a sturgeon. Most musicians play their own music.

One point for killing the girl, another point for driving around with her corpse in a Norman Bates like fashion, another for being a creeper who likes little girls, another point for having a history of violence against women, one more point for still being a DJ at 30 (get a real job), and one last point for having the idiotic name of DJ Seasunz. That's 6.

17-year-old kills pregnant girlfriend and unborn child

Florida

Teen Arrested In Pregnant Girl's Murder:

Reason to Blow Up the World...

MIRAMAR, Fla. -- Police have made an the arrest in the death of 17-year-old Stefanie Rabsatt, the girl whose body was found last Friday in the parking lot of a Miramar Winn Dixie. Rabsatt was eight months pregnant.
Edward Jermaine Babbs, 17, was arrested Wednesday evening and charged with two counts of first-degree murder. According to police, he is the father of Rabsatt’s unborn baby, the boy she was to deliver next month.
On Wednesday morning, Broward Sheriff's Office divers helped Miramar Police Detectives search a lake in Pembroke Park where they found a handgun. Police said Rabsatt was shot to death. But they won't confirm speculations that Babbs didn't want the baby.
"We don’t want to speculate on if that was the exact cause. But from what detectives have been able to gather, this was a domestic-related issue," said Miramar Police spokeswoman Tania Rues.
Family members said Babbs never indicated he was unhappy about the baby. They said his mother was helping plan Rabsatt’s baby shower next month.

Why else would he kill her? A 17-year-old punk looking down the barrel of a life of child support. Not to mention he doesn't look like the most upstanding citizen in the world.

One point for murdering Stefanie Rabsatt, another point for murdering your unborn child, one more point for throwing the gun in a lake, another point for leaving her body in a Winn-Dixie parking lot, and one last point for having those idiotic teeth. That's five.
