Friend of bank robbing dumbasses arrested for being a dumbass

Accused bank robber’s girlfriend charged with intimidating witness:

I originally posted about alleged Mass. bank robbing dumbasses Kristopher Santillo and Kaitlin Ingham here.

It seems you can add a third dumbass to the list and her crime even involves MySpace.

17-year-old Kendra Sol, who is allegedly Santillo's girlfriend, is accused of using MySpace to try and intimidate a witness who who was involved the investigation.

I'm sorry but I find it hard to be intimidated by a 17-year-old girl on MySpace.

UK YouTube rappers arrested

This is not a repeat...

Two jailed for YouTube song threat:

Two alleged rappers from the UK, Ishmael McLean, 22, and Rowan Simon, 18, were found guilty of trying to pervert the course of justice by posting a rap video on YouTube threatening the witnesses of a murder. In US terms they were found guilty of witness intimidation.

The rap entitled "Wrong Team" threatened bthe witnesses of the murder of 24-year-old Jason Johnson last year.

They claimed it was just a rap but thankfully the courts didn't buy it.

McLean was jailed for five years on Friday, including a year for having three bullets hidden in a shoebox, while Simon was imprisoned for two-and-a-half years.

I'm pretty sure that in the UK it works the same as the US that threats are not a protected form of speech.

5 arrested over MySpace threat

5 nabbed in blog threat case:

Five teenage girls were arrested for witness tampering, among other charges, for posting threatening messages on a MySpace blog against a Greenwich High School student who they believed was going to testify against a friend of theirs on a drug possession charge.

Witness tampering is a felony.

So out of these 5 girls not one of them had a parent who cared enough to check up on their online activity. Are parents just clueless in the ways of modern technology or do they just not care?
