Alleged MySpace misuse leads to sex crimes indictment for New Lebanon man:

21-year-old Joseph Cummings (too easy) of New Lebanon, Ohio is accused of using MySpace to have sex and take nude pics of underage girls.

Cummings allegedly posed as a 17-year-old boy in order to meet girls as young as 14-16.

Cummings is alleged to have had sexual contact with at least two of his victims.

Montgomery County, Ohio Prosecutor Mathias H. Heck, Jr. actually touted some common sense for parents.

“As parents, we all need to be aware of who our children are talking to while online, and never allow them to meet strangers face-to-face.”

In other words check your kids' internet activities. How many times do I have to say it?

It's one thing to know that your teenage daughter is having sex. It's another to know that she had it with an alleged molester.

I originally posted about 56-year-old Clifford Holloway here. He's the creepy gym teacher who was arrested for having sex with a 16-year-old girl in Pensacola, Florida that he met over MySpace.

I used to say that female sexual predators get slaps on the wrists becuase they're female but now I retract that way of thinking. I say that because more and more sex offenders of both genders are not getting real sentences including Holloway.

The Meridian, Mississippi teacher pleaded no contest to the charges against him and was given only 8 years in prison.

At least he was made to give up his teaching license.

You would think people would learn by now that underage girls may lie about their age online yet here we are.

23-year-old Enrique De Luna of San Antonio, Texas was arrested for having sex with a 13-year-old girl that he met on MySpace.

DeLuna allegedly took a bus from San Antonio to Indiana where the girl lived. The Girl snuck out of her window which should have been a hint that she was underage and the pair went back to San Antonio.

The girl told police they had sex several times while there.

He's allegedly using the old standby of 'she said she was 18'. Even if she did it sucks to be you. And how come a lot of these losers don't have drivers licences. Oh that's right. It's because they're predatory loser scum.

C'mon people. Please tell me how he's innocent.

He was the 37-year-old guy from Wilmington, Delaware who drove to Allentown, Pa., which is not a short trip, to pick up a 14-year-old girl he met over MySpace and her 12-year-old brother. While back in Delaware Hart and the girl had sex at his place while the boy played video games.

Even though Wilmington is a short trip over the Pa. state line it's still crossing state lines.

Hart also tried having a friend delete his MySpace account when it was noticed the girl was missing. Anyway, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his misdeeds.

The local U.S. Attorney is acting like this is some big feat.

"It is our hope that today's sentence raises the level of awareness of this danger in the community and serves as a warning to those who choose to engage in this conduct."

Hart will be 47 when he gets out. Plenty young enough to re-offend. If this is the maximum federal sentence that these scumbags can get than the laws need to be changed.

I don't know how I ever missed this scumbag.

Anyway, 39-year-old Dewey Edward Nelson, aka Jolly Rancha, of Hillsville, Virginia was sentenced to 13 years for having sex with a 15-year-old girl he met over MySpace

Nelson traveled to Texas to pick up the girl and brought her back to Virginia to have sex with her. The girls family moved to Kansas where Nelson traveled to again and picked up the girl and brought her back to Virginia.

When sentencing the judge said...

...he was sentencing Nelson above the mandatory minimum of 10 years because society required additional protection.

He'll be 52 when he gets out. Society will still require additional protection then.

Man Charged In MySpace Sex Incident:

Ok, it wasn't really House-like detectuve work however while a 14-year-old girl was being treated for an unknown medical condition she confessed to doctors that she was having a sexual relationship with an adult male.

That adult male allegedly was 22-year-old Tomas Romero Delarosa also of Omaha.

So not only is the guy a possible statutory rapist but just what were the doctors treating for the girl to admit to this?

Man charged with sex abuse of underage MySpace contact:

That angry looking man over there is 23-year-old Marty Stokes of Anchorage, Alaska.

He's been arrested for having sex with an underage girl he met on MySpace. The girl said she was 19 however according to the article a glance at her MySpace would actually reveal that she was a freshman or sophomore in high school and not 19.

Stokes is accused of having sex with her at his place at least twice.

Now guess what Alaska law says about this...

The law says a person must take "reasonable" steps to find out the age of someone they're having sex with.

I'm guessing that Mr. Angry didn't ask for ID.

Illegal immigrant accused of sexually assaulting juvenile:

You know the immigration problem is bad when there are illegals all the way up in New Hampshire. I like what Dennis Miller says, I don't mind you coming in but at least sign  the guestbook.

Anyway, 20-year-old Wilfredo Cuellar-Mejia from El Salvador got caught in the house of a 13-year-old Nashua girl that he allegedly met in MySpace. The parents of the girl heard someone in the house and thought they were being robbed and called police.

Cuellar-Mejia, has been charged with 26 counts of felonious sexual assault which he could get 7 years for each count. He won't though. And if he goes to jail since he's here illegally he'll be deported once he gets out.

He already has his defenders as someone posted in the comments of the article that the girl said she was 18. Again, maybe he should have checked her ID.

And once again parents, please check up on your kids internet habits or you might end up with an illegal alien in your house in the middle of the night playing grabass with your daughter.

The man in the blurry picture over there is 19-year-old Brian T. Jones of Paris, Ky. He was arrested for meeting with a 14-year-old runaway girl that he met over MySpace. He is also accused of preventing her from leaving at one point.

Now get this, he's been charged with kidnapping which is a felony but he's also been charged with second-degree sexual abuse which is a misdemeanor. Shouldn't they both be felonies?

The girl's mother did have MySpace blocked on their computer but the girl was able to get around it somehow. Now the article doesn't say it but since Jones was charged with sexual abuse I am going to assume that Jones had sex with the girl.

Parents, this is one of those stories that you need to show your daughters to show them what could happen if they try and meet some guy they met on MySpace.
