Facebook killer Peter Chapman not a risk, raped girl was told:

Back when I first posted about rapist and murderer Peter Chapman I wondered why he was already on the British sex offender registry. Now I know.

According to the article from The Sun, which is always there, he was convicted for the knife point rape of the 17-year-old girl and served only a four year sentence.

The victim of that raped begged authorities to keep Chapman behind bars but was told by a probation worker that Chapman was rehabilitated.

As I'm sure you know by now Chapman was far from rehabilitated as he was recently given a life sentence for the rape and murder of 17-year-old Ashleigh Hall who he met through Facebook.

I hope that probation officer is haunted by the savage that he/she unleashed on poor Ashleigh Hall.

Ears over there is 21-year-old Michael Thurlo of Las Cruces, New Mexico. That means The Crosses in case you were wondering.

Anyway he's been charged with solicitation of minors over MySpace. One girl was a 13-year-old from Tehachapi, California and the other was a 14-year-old from Arizona.

The mother of the 13-year-old girl allegedly found explicit pictures of Thurlo on her daughter's cell phone. Conversely police in Las Cruces say that Thurlo was in possession of pictures of one of the girls genitals and an explicit video of her.

The girl from Arizona is said to have met Thurlo personally while visiting family in New Mexico. The mother says that she thought that Thurlo was 16 or 17.

I never understood why scumbags like this want to have sex with underage girls. When you're 21 you're old enough to go bars and meet women your age. Then again I'm sure that you're so much of a cretin that girls your own age want nothing to do with you.

Sex Offender Charged With Using MySpace:

66-year-old Howard Michael Bailey of Burlington, NC was arrested for being a registered sex offender on MySpace. In case you haven't heard that's illegal in North Carolina now.

Bailey was also allegedly using e-mail addresses that weren't registered with the state.

I'm sure our fine Attorney General Roy Cooper will laud this as his MySpace legislation is working. While I'm glad a sex offender is off the streets I think I can probably count on one hand how many NC sex offenders have been caught up with this law. Also it doesn't address the real issue of keeping the un-registered predators from contacting children on social sites.

Kilmarnock Bebo pervert jailed at last:

Again, here's what I don't get.

The article refers to 21-year-old James Hamilton of Kilmarnock in Scotland as twisted and vile. He was recently sentenced for sexually molesting the daughter of a 35-year-old woman he met on Bebo. It seems that he befriended the woman in order to move in with her so he could molest the daughter.

This is not Hamilton's first sexual offense. In December of 2008 he molested a 13-year-old girl at a shopping mall and was placed on the sex offender registry for that. For his latest assault on the woman's daughter he received just 15 months in prison and the judge acts like he's really throwing the book at him.

“It’s very odd behaviour, someone of your age becoming friends with a woman of 35 over a website, moving in with her and then committing this offence against her daughter.

“It is the case that you committed this offence a few weeks after you were placed on probation for what is described as an aggravated assault on a child that was sexual.

“I’ve come to the conclusion that I have to take this matter seriously.”

Yet he only gets 15 months.

The mother of the victim wants the death penalty reinstated in the UK for scum like Hamilton. It shows me how disconnected the government in the UK is with the wishes of the people and the danger these predators really pose that the courts won't admit.

Georgia could restrict sex offenders from Facebook:

Georgia, the state not the country, is considering their own brand of legislation to try and keep registered sex offenders off of social sites like the ubiquitous MySpace and Facebook.

Again this reeks of vote pandering.

The measure was introduced by State Rep. Rob Teilhet. I personally could care less what his political affiliation is. However Teilhet is running for a certain state office. That's right kids. He's running for state Attorney General.

Teilhet, a Smyrna Democrat running for attorney general, said the proposal will help clear the Internet of dangerous child predators.

You know what else will help keep the internet clear of predators? Keeping them in jail in the first place.

And again here is another politician too afraid to tell parents to do their damn jobs. It's not supposed to be the government's responsibility to raise your damn kids.

Facebook perv gets life in jail:

I originally posted about Peter Chapman here. He's the 32-year-old homeless sex offender who was accused of grooming 17-year-old Ashleigh Hall before kidnapping, raping and killing her.

He was recently sentenced for his crimes and was given a life sentence. And by life sentence the UK means he can be released after 35 years.

After posing as a 16-year-old boy on Facebook in order to gain Ashleigh's confidence before raping her then suffocating her with duct tape he still has a chance of freedom. Not even mentioning that he was previously convicted of sex crimes and released.

According to the article Ashleigh's mother wishes the UK would being back the death penalty and according to the comments in the article it seems that a lot of the British people agree.

Yet the British government can't even ban sex offenders from Facebook because of 'human rights' concerns. 

Scumbags like Chapman aren't human. They're a group of freaks that should be exterminated with extreme prejudice by the state.

He didn't give Ashleigh a chance for freedom. Why should he get one?

Police: Girl Sexually Assaulted by Man She Met on MySpace:

13-year-old girl allegedly kidnapped, assaulted by man she met on MySpace:

Police in Los Angeles arrested 35-year-old Samuel Francisco (yes kids, his name is Sam Francisco) for allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl that he met on MySpace.

Police say that Fransisco lured the girl away from her middle school and took her to another location where she was sexually assaulted.

Apparently L.A. takes this kind of thing very seriously as the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, Major Crimes Detectives, Secret Service Agents and Immigration Custom Enforcement Officers all went to Fransisco's residence to get the girl back and to arrest Francisco. That must have been the biggest can of whupass on the other side of his door.

Fransisco may have had other victims as well.

Paedophile is jailed for having sex with girl, 15:

40-year-old Paul Collins of Bolton in the UK was sentenced last week for having sex with a 15-year-old girl he met over VampireFreaks.

When he was arrested he confessed to having masses of child porn on his computer.

At sentencing the judge told him...

“You represent a real and serious risk to children. You had all these images on your computer and you acted upon your interest in young girls.”

He had pleaded guilty to sexual grooming, two counts of sexual activity with a child, 10 counts of making indecent images of children and one count of possessing indecent images of children.

You'd think with crimes like that he would have a long stay in a Biritish prison. Sadly that is not the case as Collins was only sentenced to 2 years and 10 months.

Accused bank robber’s girlfriend charged with intimidating witness:

It seems you can add a third dumbass to the list and her crime even involves MySpace.

17-year-old Kendra Sol, who is allegedly Santillo's girlfriend, is accused of using MySpace to try and intimidate a witness who who was involved the investigation.

I'm sorry but I find it hard to be intimidated by a 17-year-old girl on MySpace.

Binghamton man sentenced for luring minors on Internet:

32-year-old Mark McGrath, not the famous one, of Binghamton, New York has been sentenced to 10 years behind bars for solicitation of minors through MySpace.

McGrath admitted to posing as a middle school girl named Cristal in order to solicit under age boys for sex.

He'll also have 15 years of supervised parole when gets out.

So he'll be 42 when he gets out and 57 when he's off probation. Plenty young enough for him to offend again and again the supervision is really not that much of a deterrent.
