Tenn. restaurant worker charged in MySpace murder plot
Monday, December 14, 2009 at 2:58AM Man charged with soliciting murder on Internet:
Plot is too strong a word here. It was more like a murder request.
Anyway, 24-year-old Elijah Sakpeidah of Cookeville, Tennessee is a restaurant worker from Cookeville, TN. He's been charged with attempted solicitation to commit first degree murder after allegedly posting something on his MySpace asking someone to kill an 18-year-old co-worker of his.
The post on his MySpace allegedly said "with a request to kill for the amount of $2,000 or more, based on the way she is killed."
Sakpeidah lives with his fiancé and daughter and when police stormed his house to arrest him he allegedly held a small child in front of him.
So not only did this coward want someone to kill for him but he used a child, possibly his own, as a human shield.
