Girl beaten by parents because of MySpace

Parents allegedly beat teen for getting MySpace page:

In the past I've given dozens of tips on how to make your child's experience on social networking sites a safe one. One method I don't advocate is beating your kids if they get a MySpace.

It's obvious that Randal S. Schaal of Sheboygan, Wisconsin doesn't read this site. Schaal and the girl's mother, Kelly J. Winter, are accused of beating their 14-year-old daughter because she set up her own Myspace page without her parents' permission.

The girl said her father held her on the ground while spanking her extremely hard about 20 times. When she squirmed away, Schaal kicked her in the left hip, made a comment about making it “even” and then kicked her in the right hip.

Winter grabbed the girl by the hair and pushed her head toward a wall. The girl said Winter asked her, “What’s it feel like to have both your parents beat on you?”

Whatever happened to just being grounded? No wonder kids are out of control. They learned it from you Dad.
