Man kidnaps victim for a PS3

Teen accused of kidnapping teen at gunpoint, forces him to buy Playstation 3:

That's 18-year-old David Daniels of Collier County, Florida. This criminal genius and an accomplice kidnapped another 18-year-old male. They allegedly demanded money from the victim but since the victim didn't have any they took him to his home and made him steal his stepfather's credit card and jewelry.

They then took the victim to WalMart and tried to force him to buy a shotgun. However the gun counter was closed so instead of buying a shotgun they forced the victim to buy Daniels a Playstation 3. After the purchase the victim was free to go.

You would think that anyone with half a brain could figure out a multitude of things that could go wrong with this crime from the WalMart surveilance tape to the serial number on the PS3. Then again if people were smart they wouldn't be stupid criminals.

Thanks to longtime friend of the site Jim for the tip.
