Man who had sex with 12-year-old gets no time

Fairview Heights man admits sexual misconduct with girl, then 12:

29-year-old Steven Ballinger of Fairview Heights, Illinois admitted in court last week that he not only had sex with a 12-year-old girl in 2006 but that he also filmed the unholy act.

So what do you think he got for his troubles? How about, not a damn thing?

All he got was 2 1/2 years of probation and he has to register as a sex offender.

Guys like this should be thrown in the proverbial hole and never heard from again.

How long until he re-offends?
