Joplin teen pleads guilty:

As you’ll recall Thomas White of Joplin, Missouri was arrested some years ago for firing an assault rifle inside of Memorial Middle School and trying to fire the gun at the principal but the gun jammed. The last we heard the now 16-year-old White was ruled incompetent to stand trial.

Recently he was found competent and entered into a plea agreement yesterday. Under the terms of the plea White has pleaded guilty to two assault charges and the remaining felony charges against him will be dropped.

Sentencing is set for September and more than likely White will be released before he becomes an adult.

Lawsuit filed by Christopher Penley’s parents thrown out

June 14, 2009

Parents of Milwee Middle student who was fatally shot lose in court:

You may remember the story a few years back about 15-year-old Christopher Penley from Milwee Middle School in Florida. He was the kid who took a realistic looking pellet gun to school and used it to hold a student hostage then had a standoff with police.

In the ensuing standoff Penley pointed the gunh at police and was shot by Lt. Mike Weippert. Penley later died in the hospital after being declared brain dead. Weippert was cleared of any wrongdoing.

Penley’s parents had filed a suit against the Seminole County Sheriff’s Department however a U.S. district judge recently threw the suit out of court.

U.S. District Judge Gregory Presnell on Monday issued a summary judgment, saying that Penley’s family was not entitled to any money from the sheriff’s office or Weippert.

Neither violated the boy’s constitutional rights, the judge wrote.

Weippert was within his rights to pull the trigger, the judge wrote, because he believed the boy was on the verge of shooting Weippert or someone else.

Again I feel bad for the Penley family but Christopher sealed his own fate by pointing the gun at police. That shooting in the shoulder stuff is only in TV and movies. In the real world police are taught to aim for center mass.

Florida middle schoolers accused of raping teammate with hockey stick over two months

4 teens charged as adults in locker room sexual assault case:

School officials reviewing policies in wake of rape case:

4 teens from Walker Middle School in Tampa, Florida have been charged as adults for sexually assaulting, i.e. prison raping, one of their flag-football teammates with a hockey stick and a broomstick. The rapes allegedly took place over a span of two months in front of multiple witnesses with no one coming forward, not even the victim.

It wasn’t until the victim got into a fight on the field and said “I’m tired of them getting on me.” That incident sparked a school investigation that resulted in the rapes coming to light.

Randall John Moye, 14; Raymond A. Price-Murray, 14; Lee Louis Myers, 14; and Diamante J. Roberts, 15, all admitted in written statements to the rapes. They’ve all pleaded not guilty and are all out on $15,000 bail.

As is usual in these cases someone has to come out and say how these alleged rapists are nice boys…

Defense attorneys told the judge their clients were good students and had never been in trouble before. Attorney Tim Taylor, representing Randall Moye, said his client’s family is among the finest in the community.

Taylor presented six character witnesses, including his client’s mother, Jeanne Myers, who said her son wants to attend college. The prosecutor asked her about her son’s written statement about the attacks. Myers said her son described clowning around in the locker room with a hockey stick. She added that he told her about holding down the victim for a few seconds.

And I’m sure she believes him. Sodomizing a 13-year-old with a hockey stick is not clowning around. If you think it is I’d hate to be at your family reunion.

All suspects are looking at 120 years behind bars but as history has shown It’s unlikely these future date rapers will even see the inside of a cell.

Again what causes some athletic types to consider sodomy as a way of team building considering athletes tend to be the most homophobic of people.

Lawyer says Templeton hit list not like Columbine

templetoncaccheFacebook hit list not like Columbine, Vancouver teen’s lawyer says:

The lawyer representing the 18-year-old student of Templeton Secondary School accused of plotting an attack against the school is claiming the danger that his client may pose was no where near that of Columbine.

“People do all kinds of crazy, stupid things all the time,” he said. “How many people have said I’m going to go kill that person? It may sound concerning, obviously, but who knows?

“What are we really dealing with here? This is one weapon in a house and there’s allegedly some information on a computer that is scary, of course, for everyone involved.

“But this isn’t a case where someone showed up with an arsenal of weapons at a school and started shooting people. So quite frankly I don’t think the Columbine equation fits at all.”

Let’s review the details.

The kid had 117 names on a hit list that he posted to Facebook and he was allegedly found to be in possesion of a shotgun, a sword, a machete and a buttload of ammunition as pictured above. And this attorney has the grapefruits to say that the danger wasn’t that great.

That’s the kind of thinking that allows school shootings to happen.

templeton-secondaryVancouver teen arrested for alleged ‘hit list’ of fellow students, gun seized:

Teen in hit-list case in court:

Templeton student faces weapons charges linked to Facebook hit list:

A hit list posted on Facebook with the names of 117 people led to the arrest of an 18-year-old male student of Templeton Secondary School in Vancouver, BC (not AD). The teen was also found to be in possession of a shotgun, ammunition, a machete, a sword, a knife and two collapsible metal batons.

Six students from Templeton, some who were on the list, came forward to police.

Police are saying that they are concentrating on the acts made by the teen when he was younger than 18. Because of Canada’s Criminal Youth Act the suspect isn’t being named.

More on this as details become released.

Dillard shooter to plead insanity

May 30, 2009

Teen to plead insanity in Dillard High fatal shooting:

The attorney for Teah Wimberly filed a motion this past Thursday that he plans to use an insanity defense for his client.

As you’ll recall Wimberly is accused of shooting and killing Amanda Collette in the halls of Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Allegedly the shooting was because Amanda spurned Wimberly’s romantic advances.

A notice filed Thursday by Wimberly’s lawyer, Larry S. Davis, outlined what the defense contends are several causes of mental illness. They include allegedly being molested by an unnamed family member at age 6, being abandoned several times by her parents and beatings by her parents.

I’m sorry your childhood sucked but Amanda Collette had nothing to do with that and didn’t deserve to be murdered.

Brick through window closes down Mass. High School

Stoneham HIgh cancels classes after serious threat:

Stoneham High School in Stoneham, Mass. was shut down today after school administrators found a brick thrown through the window. Attached to the brick was note threatening a Columbine at the school. I didn’t think that happened in real life.

The State Police bomb squad and a SWAT team were brought in to search the entire complex and found nothing.

I could almost guarantee that this was either a prank or a way of someone getting the day off but you can never be too careful in these types of situations. I hope that the assclown that did this gets prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

It’s being reported that Justin Doucet died over the weekend from his self inflicted gunshot wound. Doucet fired a shot at teacher at Larose-Cutt Off Middle School in Larose in Louisiana before shooting himself under the chin.

He wasted his life. If had had surrendered to police after firing the shot he more than likely would have been charged as a juvenile. Now he’s given himself a death sentence for what I’m sure is something trivial.

14-year-old Michael Yates was sentenced to 7 years in a juvenile facility. He was given an 18 year suspended sentence that will be lifted if he successfully completes the treatment program at the facility.

In November of 2008 Yates entered Montrose High school, where he wasn’t a student, snuck up behind 17-year-old Mallory Haulman and slashed her throat with a knife.

I would imagine that Yates’ record will be expunged if he completes the program. Meanwhile Mallory Haulman will have the scars for the rest of her life.

Robertson hazing judge steps down

May 21, 2009

robertson_cardinalsJudge in hazing case steps down:

The judge presiding over the Robetrtson High hazing case in Las Vegas, New Mexico has stepped down amid allegations of prejudice. Defense attorneys have accused District Judge James Hall of bias against their clients after some comments that he made. However Hall says he’s not stepping down because of any bias…

“I think it would be difficult for any of the lawyers here to find another judge that has a stronger belief in that concept of presumption of innocence,” he said. “In light of the way my comments were reported, I conclude that a reasonable person might question my impartiality as the manner goes forward was to the four remaining respondents.”

As you may recall several members of Robertson High’s football team are accused of sodomizing their younger teammataes with a broomstick.

I’m actually glad that Judge Hall stepped down. I don’t want any reason for these rapists to beable to walk.

Evidence released in Larose-Cutoff Shooting

May 20, 2009

jdoucetDrawings, writings of Larose school shooter describe a “troubled” boy:

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Department made the evidence that was recovered from Justin Doucet public. Doucet opened fire at a teacher at Larose-Cutoff Middle School in Larose, La. before turning the gun on himself. The teacher was unharmed but 15-year-old Doucet is currently in a coma.

Anyway, Lousiana TV station WWL has posted a slideshow of the evidence on their website. I’m going to provide my own special brand of commentary on some of the pictures.

Picture 3: That’s the .25 calibre handgun that Doucet armed himself with. It may not look like much but from my limited knowledge of firearms low calibre bullets like this can be nasty. From what I understand bullets like that can bounce around inside you causing a ton of internal damage which makes me wonder how extensive the injuries are that Doucet inflicted on himself. Also I have to correct myself. Ipreviously said that Doucet only had four bullets. That was incorrect, he actually had 5. Police believe he had 4 targets in mind and the last bullet he was to save for himself.

Picture 6: He called himself the LCO Gunman. LCO stands for Larose-Cutoff. That’s kind of like giving yourself a nickname which only tools do.

Picture 8: The media makes a big deal that he had the names of several metal bands on his notebook. When I was in high school so did I. I’m more concerned over the fact that he had the letters BTK on his notebook. As in the BTK serial killer Dennis Rader. It could also stand for Born To Kill. Parents? Anyone?

Picture 12: The media and possibly police call this a poem by Doucet. It’s actually the lyrics to a song called Raining Blood by Slayer. Not an original thought in this kid’s head.

Picture 18: A news clipping from USA Today about the 10th Anniversary of Columbine. Doucet was more than likely 5 at the time of Columbine. But notice how lovingly it seems to be kept. There’s your mutantcy not to mention that again not an original thought in this kid’s head.

Picture 20: They say that he was into crime history. This has nothing to do with crime history. More than likely he was engaging in blood soaked fantasies about being some big time killer. Kind of ironic considering the only person he may end up killing is himself.

Now I’m sure someone is going to wail and gnash teeth claiming that Doucet must have been bullied. From all reports I’ve read he was teased no more or no less than any other student. To those people I say maybe just maybe this kid was nothing more than disturbed.
