Authorities: Weddington Mother, Daughter Dead In Murder-Suicide:
Reason to Blow Up the World

WEDDINGTON, N.C. — A mother killed her daughter and then herself in their Weddington home late last week, authorities said after discovering their bodies on Monday.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office was asked to do a well-being check at a home in the Weddington Woods community just after 4 p.m. Monday. When an officer arrived, he found 34-year-old Christa Higgins Childester dead in the attic and the body of her 9-year-old daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Higgins, in her bed in an adjoining bedroom.

Authorities have not said how the two were killed, but they said the deaths happened on Friday. They said the woman left notes detailing the crime and specific instructions on how her personal affairs should be handled.

Det. Kevin Rogers, the lead investigator in the case, said Childester had been distraught lately due to personal problems. He said she divorced last year, had financial troubles and was unemployed.

I don’t care how frickin’ distraught you are. There is never any reason to do this to your kids just because you’re distraught.

Once again we invoke the first commandment of Doom; If you’re going to off yourself be a man and go alone.

Father stabs twins

Father charged in killings of twins, 5:
Reason to Blow Up the World:

A man called 911 and said he’d stabbed his twin daughters to death and was about to kill himself, a dispatcher told police officers Friday.

When the officers arrived at the man’s southeast Mecklenburg home about 12:45 p.m., they found David Lauren Crespi outside unarmed, police spokesman Keith Bridges said. The officers quickly handcuffed him and put him in a police car.

Inside, they found 5-year-olds Samantha and Tessara Crespi in separate rooms.

The officers thought one of the girls might still be alive and carried her to medics waiting outside. But both of the petite brunettes were pronounced dead at their home.

Late Friday, police charged 45-year-old Crespi with two counts of murder in the deaths of his twins. He is a senior vice president in Wachovia’s audit division, a company spokesman confirmed.

They said the girls had each been stabbed more than once.

A motive has not been released by police but family members are saying that the suspect was on anti-depressants and did not like a new medication he was on for insomnia.

Fire set by mother kills two kids

Police: Greene told kids to stay in burning home:
Reason to Blow Up the World: This happened locally but I was waiting until it made a national news site before considering it. I could probably do an entire site just on the local crime scene…

Lisa Louise Greene told investigators she instructed her two children to “stay on the bed” as she ran out of the family’s burning home in Midland last Tuesday.

Investigators used her statements to persuade a judge to let them search her home for criminal evidence after the fire, in which Addison Macemore, 8, and her brother, Daniel, 10, died.

Greene, 40, is charged with first-degree arson and two counts of first-degree murder. She’s being held without bond in a single cell at the Cabarrus County jail and is scheduled to appear in court briefly this morning.

Greene first told firefighters she saw fire only inside the children’s room. But there was no evidence of burning or charring inside the room, according to the search warrant.

“The origin of the fire was outside the room occupied by the children,” the warrant says.

Talking with a 911 dispatcher as the house burned, Greene also said the door to the children’s room was closed. She later said Addison was on the bed and Daniel was on the floor. She said they had been watching a movie and had a lit candle in their room.

Greene also told investigators the fire was so severe she couldn’t help the children.

It seems like we have our own version of Susan Smith here in North Cackalacki.

Released sex offender rapes again

Registered Sex Offender Charged With Brutal Assault:
Reason to Blow Up the World:

A registered sex offender has been charged with the brutal sexual assault of a woman who was at his home to take care of him.

Police said William Johnson, 55, attacked his caregiver at his home on Murdock Road, off The Plaza, in north Charlotte.

The victim said the assault happened several weeks ago, but she was too scared to come forward until now.

According to the police search warrant, Johnson forced his caregiver into his home, tied her up and brutally sexually assaulted a woman. The warrant said Johnson then poured boiling water from a tea kettle over the victim’s genitals.

Police said Johnson is a convicted sex offender who served less than 15 years of a 40-year prison sentence for a rape in 1988.

Rehabilitation is the exception not the rule. This scumbag should have never seen the light of day once he went into prison for rape.

Father arrested for abuse on Christmas day

Father accused of abusing baby girl:
Reason to Blow Up the World:

A Concord man was arrested Christmas Day and accused of abusing his 2-month-old daughter.

According to police reports, the child’s mother, Saudi Zamor, called for an ambulance and the baby was taken to Northeast Medical Center. Hospital staff then contacted police.

Patrick Anthony Zamor, 24, has been charged with felony child abuse. He is in the Cabarrus County Jail under a $200,000 bond.

Two other children in the home, a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old have been placed in the custody of the Department of Social Services.

“Child abuse is one of the most appalling crimes we see and protecting defenseless children is one of our most important duties,” Concord Police Chief Merl Hamilton said. Our investigators are to be commended for working together quickly to ensure that the other children in this home are safe and that the father will receive the maximum punishment possible.

The infant has life-threatening injuries including a skull fracture and broken arms, legs and ribs. Investigators are still trying to determine exactly what happened to her.

My wife sent me this story. Let me quote her directly from the e-mail she sent me…

I got a nice dull pair of scissors here with that bastard’s name all over ‘em.

You don’t want to know what she thinks they should be used for but you can probably imagine.

Reservist killed

Sailor home for holidays slain in park:
Reason to Blow Up the World:

Home for Christmas after nearly a year in the Middle East, Navy Reservist Paul Berkley was making up for lost time with his family.

He arrived Wednesday, in time to hear his 18-year-old son, Zeke, sing the national anthem with his high school chorus. On Friday, he and 16-year-old stepdaughter Becky ate pizza, watched movies and danced.

By Sunday, the 46-year-old sailor was dead, shot once in the head during a walk in the park with his wife, Monique. She now stands charged with his slaying, along with two men — her alleged teenage lover and her stepdaughter’s boyfriend.

Monique Berkley, 26, was ordered jailed without bond. Andrew Canty, the man who moved in with her during her husband’s deployment, and Latwon Johnson, both 18, also were denied bond. They were in the process of being assigned public defenders.

The shooting occurred early Sunday morning, four days after Berkley returned from Bahrain for Christmas break.

A breathless Monique Berkley, bleeding from a gunshot wound to her left shoulder, called for help on her cell phone at 2:57 a.m., saying the couple had been attacked by two unseen men. Paul Berkley’s gurgling, tortured breathing could clearly be heard on a 15-minute 911 tape.

Her screams led police down a wooded path, where they found her bent over her husband, who died in a hospital later that day.

Police would not release details of the case. But a picture is emerging of a marriage on the rocks.

This man spends a year overseas serving his country and survives only to come back and be shot by the boyfriend and friend of his two-timing wife. Can we throw sedition charges on there too?

Chained like a dog

Dad Accused Of Leaving Child In Dog Chains:
Reason to Blow Up the World:

A North Carolina man has been accused of chaining up his 12-year-old son, according to authorities.

James Galanis, 35, is accused of leaving his son in dog chains when he left his Silver Valley, N.C., home last week, according to authorities.

The child told investigators that he was chained to a china hutch but managed to get away and call for help. The boy is OK, authorities said.

Investigators said Galanis is also wanted by Archdale, N.C., police and is accused of downloading child pornography.

Chained his kid up and child porn. I think we have a father of the year candidate here. Since he used dog chains we should put him in the starved dog cage with those pit bulls that mauled 6 people.

Seven Teens Killed in N.C. Car Crash:
Reason to blow up the world: Where in the hell were these kids parents? If they pulled over the most they would have gotten was a slap on the wrists since most of them were juveniles. Now they’re all dead. What was an 18 year old doing hanging out with 13 and 14 year olds anyway and why would their parents allow it?

Suspect in pregnant woman’s slaying jailed:
Reason to blow up the world: There are just too many to pick from. A woman tells everyone she’s pregnant then when it comes time to produce said baby she kills an acquaintance and cuts out her unborn child from her body. (Fuck CNN for using the term fetus. It was an unborn child.) Then tries to pass the baby off as her own at the hospital after it already died. I don’t care how mentally fucked in the head she is. This woman deserves at least the death penalty. If it were up to me she’d also be subject to medical experiments while fully conscious.

As always it was your pleasure.

Reason to blow up the world: I think it’s pretty obvious isn’t it. The fact that any “reasonable” human being can take enjoyment in the sadistic torture of another living creature for the sole purpose of fulfilling their sadistic desires is proof enough that we as a race of humans do not deserve to exist. I hope the karma train punches their ticket by having them die in a flaming car wreck involving only them. Merry freakin’ Christmas.

Further proof that as a race we do not deserve to exist. This poor guy was dumped from a car naked and his hands and feet were bound. A good Samaritan was trying to help him when a guy pulls up in a car and blows the naked guy away with a shotgun. So far no arrests have been made. Luckily no innocent bystanders were killed.
