Day care worker charged with murder:

2008 was the year of the killer boyfriend. It seems that 2009 will be the year of killer daycare workers.

Reason to Blow Up the World

calusinskMurder charges have been filed against a 22-year-old suburban day care worker whom police say admitted to throwing a 16-month-old boy in her care to the ground.

Benjamin Kingan parents had trusted the staff at the Minee Subee Day Care Center, but Wednesday afternoon, police say a teacher’s assistant, 22-year-old Melissa Calusinski, became so frustrated she threw him to the ground.

Police say 16-month-old Benjamin of Deerfield, at first, showed no outward signs of injury. He crawled across the room, picking up a blanket and toy along the way, before climbing into a bouncy chair and eventually losing consciousness.

An autopsy revealed the child suffered a fractured skull and bleeding near the brain.

If you can’t handle a fussy 16-month-old without resorting to violence than you have no business working in daycare. Like I said before these parents pay good money and put their trust in you to protect their kids while they go and provide food and shelter for them.

I’m so disgusted I’m just going to score this one a 5 like the last one.

Not of Doom to Tina.

3 Arrested for Allegedly Plotting to Take Young Girls to Hotel Sex ‘Party’:

Reason to Blow Up the World

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — Three people face federal charges for allegedly conspiring to take two young girls to an Indiana hotel room for a sex “party,” then taking pictures as the children were molested.

Tabitha D. Robinson, 32, of Midlothian allegedly took a 3-year-old girl to a Best Western in Terre Haute, Ind., in August to meet two people she had “an online relationship” with, knowing the child would be molested, according to the complaint filed this week in U.S. District Court in southern Illinois.

William M. Milligan, 27, of Bloomington, Ind., allegedly e-mailed Robinson driving directions to Terre Haute on Aug. 7 with a subject line that said “map to the party lol,” the abbreviation for “laughing out loud.”

Prosecutors say Robinson’s camera was used to take nude pictures of the 3-year-old and an 11-year-old girl being cared for by Louise Helen Masulla, 32, of New Athens.

Investigators found images on computers owned by Robinson and Masulla of the girls “engaging in sexually explicit conduct” with Masulla in the hotel room, the complaint said. Robinson allegedly admitted e-mailing video of sexual acts involving the younger girl to Milligan.

Robinson, Masulla, and Milligan are charged with conspiracy to produce child pornography and conspiracy to transport minors to engage in criminal sexual activity. Masulla is also charged with aggravated sexual abuse and transportation, and Milligan is charged with receipt of child pornography.

The offenses carry prison terms that range from five years to life.

Sometimes you really don’t think of women as being pedophiles and child molesters yet here we are.

One point for each suspect (3), another point for each victim (2), one more point for the child porn, another for the molestation, and one last point for being a network of scum. That’s eight.

Yorkville man charged with sexual assault of infant:

Reason to Blow Up the World

A Yorkville man has been charged with felony predatory criminal sexual assault after his infant stepchild was brought to an emergency room early Sunday, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Department said.

Deputies responded to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora about 12:25 a.m. Sunday after receiving a report of a possible criminal sexual assault to an infant, the Sheriff’s Department news release said.

The infant’s stepfather, Kyle W. Zaricor, 23, of the 0-600 block of McHugh Road in Yorkville, was charged with two counts of felony predatory criminal sexual assault, the release said.

The infant was brought to the emergency room just before midnight with injuries that allegedly occurred at the parents’ residence Saturday. The hospital immediately contacted the sheriff’s office and the Department of Children and Family Services, the release said.

Remember the rule I instituted for an automatic 10 points for baby rapers? So yeah…10 points.

Family beat mentally challenged woman

Police say 2 teens beat mentally challenged cousin:

Reason to Blow Up the World

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. – A 34-year-old woman with the mental capacity of a 6-year-old was virtually defenseless to beatings inflicted by live-in, teenage cousins, and could not cry out for help in a home that had no telephone, investigators say.

She weathered the floggings for more than a year, absorbing blows from everything from a broom to iron pipe and extension cord — all of it directed by an aunt whose death last week from a massive heart attack left the victim an escape hatch, police said.

On Tuesday, two days after police entered the picture, the victim was hospitalized with broken bones, bruising and malnutrition that sent her weight below 100 pounds. But she was expected to recover from the ordeal that an investigator found quite easy to categorize.

“This is bizarre,” police Detective Michael Floore told reporters, after prosecutors charged two of the victim’s cousins with aggravated battery.

Police say the victim and three of her cousins — ages 17, 16 and 13 — lived with the aunt and an uncle. The aunt directed the beatings because the victim gave the woman “a hard time” and didn’t wash the dishes, they said.

Additionally, Floore said, the aunt “had a bad heart and couldn’t do (the beatings)” herself.

The aunt’s husband tried to intervene, “but his wife turned against him,” Floore said.

“He had a bad heart himself, so he left it alone,” the investigator said.

St. Clair County prosecutors charged 17-year-old Davion Cutler on Tuesday with aggravated battery, accusing him in the criminal complaint of striking the victim on the back with an extension cord. He was jailed on $50,000 bond, and it was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.

Davion Cutler’s 16-year-old brother was charged with battery as a juvenile and was in youth detention, his name not released because of his age. Police also were looking for the boys’ 13-year-old sister although they did not say whether she was involved in the abuse.

The abuse surfaced Sunday, when workers at a hospital told police they were treating a malnourished, mentally challenged woman with beating-related injuries, investigators said.

When police went to the home, the teenagers tried to flee. But officers quickly caught Cutler and his brother, who admitted they had beaten the victim with a broom, pipe and “a switch,” police Detective Orlando Ward said.

The two teenage boys, without being encouraged, also beat the 13-year-old girl several times a day, Floore said.

The victim told police the home had no telephone, crimping her ability to call out for help, Floore said.

“She said she sat on the front porch a few times but would never tell anybody about what was going on, mostly because she was mentally challenged and didn’t know what to do actually,” Floore said. “She can talk, but she’s slow capacity. She may have the mind of a 6-year-old.”

It’s amazing they just didn’t put her out on the porch in a cage and charge people to poke her with a stick.

One point for the aunt, three points for all of the teens, another point for the uncle who did nothing, one more point for trying to flee from police, and one last point for victimizing someone who doesn’t even have the mental capacity to help herself. That’s 7.

Homeless Couple In Court For Brutal Attack:

Reason to Blow Up the World

Bond was set at $500,000 each on Wednesday for a homeless couple charged with the Monday night robbery and brutal beating in the South Loop that left a woman in a drug-induced coma for 24 hours.

Cook County Circuit Judge Adam Bourgeois set the $500,000 bonds for Derrick King, 46, and Joyce Burgess, 38, both of the Pacific Garden Mission at 1458 S. Canal St., according to Cook County State’s Attorney’s office spokeswoman Tandra Simonton.

Each is charged with aggravated battery and robbery, she said. Police said they stole a Blackberry.

A man and woman in their 30s went into a store on Roosevelt Road near Wabash Avenue to buy cigarettes about 10:30 p.m. Monday while celebrating the woman’s birthday, according to a police source.

When they left, Burgess and King, who were panhandling near the store, confronted the them. When Burgess asked the woman for a cigarette, she was told to “go get a job” by the woman or her companion, the source said.

A fight ensued and King allegedly grabbed the woman, threw her to the ground and beat her in the head, knocking out most of her upper teeth and leaving her critically inured. She was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the source said.

Simonton, citing court records, said Wednesday that the woman was in a drug-inducted coma for 24 hours and remains in Intensive Care. She suffered bleeding on the brain and has undergone two procedures to drain the fluid and relieve pressure. She also had 14 teeth knocked out in the attack.

I wonder if they’re happy to have a roof over their heads now?

One point for being beggars, another point for the beating, one more point for not having a job, one point for knocking this woman’s teeth out, another point for putting this woman in a coma, and one last point for taking the woman’s Blackberry. What the hell is a bum going to do with a Blackberry besides sell it for their next fix. That’s six.

Chicago landlord set on fire

Charges Filed In South Side Landlord’s Attack:

Reason to Blow Up the World

CHICAGO — Authorities said Friday they have charged a man in connection with an attack last week on a 77-year-old landlord who was doused with a flammable liquid and set on fire.

Police said they have charged 28-year-old Donald Hardy of Chicago with attempted first-degree murder in connection with the attack on 77-year-old Harlan Hayes last week.

Hayes’ daughter, Alisa Stovall, called the person who attacked her father an “evil person.”

“This is a horrific crime,” Stovall said. “My dad is a 77-year-old man.”

“The man made it through the Korean War, for crying out loud,” said Hayes’ son, Harlan Hayes Jr.

Hayes, while still on fire and yelling, managed to make his way to the apartment building next door, NBC5’s Sharon Wright reported. Hayes’ handprints could still be seen on the stone wall of the building. One tenant, who did not want to be identified, said she was stunned when she opened the door.

“He was too badly burned; I didn’t recognize who he was until he talked,” the tenant said.

As Hayes collapsed on the porch, Wright reported, he managed to describe his attacker — who, Hayes said, was a former tenant.

Hayes’ two children, who have flown back to Chicago, said the person was someone the family trusted, and that their father was forced to evict the tenants when the son allegedly got into trouble.

“They were the perfect family until two weeks ago,” Stovall said. “And then, it was like we’re dealing with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.”

Unfortunately Mr. Hayes did not survive and Hardy has been charged with first degree murder.

One point for being a bad tenant, another point for victimizing an old man, another point for being a coward and setting him on fire, one more point for killing him, and one last point for the agony this poor man had to suffer through. That’s five.

Chicago Cops Hunt Acid Attackers Who Burned Woman:

Reason to Blow Up the World

Esperanza Medina, 48, is in serious condition with burns over a quarter of her body after police said she was attacked on her way to work by two women with a caustic substance at around 6:45 a.m. on Monday, the Chicago Tribune reports.

“She has no hair,” her daughter Shirley Medina told MyFOXChicago.com. “Her whole face is burned.”

The woman’s boyfriend told MyFOXChicago.com that the substance melted Esperanza Medina’s clothing.

The victim had recently received threats and had her tires slashed, MyFOXChicago.com reports. She had recently moved to Chicago from Wyoming, Mich., the Tribune said.

Surveillance video showed the two women believed to have thrown the caustic substance, and a third suspect, a man, was seen running at the scene with a baseball bat, MyFOXChicago.com reports. He was recognized as a man who stole Esperanza Medina’s purse several weeks ago.

Acid? Really? And just exactly where does one get acid? The Acid Store? Bed, Acid, and Beyond? The Acme Acid catalog?

Is this what we’ve come to as a society? I know throwing acid on someone isn’t anything new but as far as cowardly acts go this one is definitely near the top.

One point for each coward involved in the attack, another point for the attack itself, and one last point for the level of brutality of the attack. That’s 5.

Prosecutor: Baby dead after 8 days of neglect:
Reason to Blow Up the World

hermannsargentPEORIA — Benjamin Sargent died with his eyes open, fists clenched and strapped into a car seat after eight days without food or water, authorities say.

The 5-month-old was dropped off at his parents’ house on Feb. 4, wearing a bright-blue snowsuit and strapped into his car seat. Eight days later, he was found in the filth-strewn home in the same position, Peoria County State’s Attorney Kevin Lyons said Wednesday during a bond hearing for the parents, Tracy D. Hermann, 21, and James E. Sargent, 23, both of Peoria, who are charged with murder for their son’s death.

The charges state the parents’ actions, or lack thereof, were “brutal and heinous … indicative of wanton cruelty,” factors that could mean they face up to 100 years in prison if convicted.

Lyons also said he might seek the death penalty for the two. State law allows a capital charge if the accused is older than 17 and the victim is younger than 12.

“He died from starvation due to neglect from these two defendants, his parents,” Lyons said, spitting out the last word with contempt.

A person who was staying at an unattached garage adjacent to the house had seen Benjamin at some point, thought it was “odd” that he was still on the living room floor after being dropped off and moved him, car seat and all, into the other room.

There Benjamin sat for eight days, most of which both Hermann and Sargent were home, “playing video games, watching TV, feeding and caring for themselves,” Lyons said afterward.

Selfish pieces of crap. You obviously don’t deserve to be blessed with children and should prevented from being so in the future. They should cut his off and weld her’s shut.

One point for ignoring your kid in favor of video games, one point for starving your child to death, one point for not thinking to yourself at one point in eight fucking days “Hey, I have a kid, maybe I should go check on him once in a while”, for three points. Multiply it by 2 since there were two child abusing dumbasses for six points. This pair of scum sucking losers are now our leading ‘champions’ for scumbags of the year.

Father accused of killing pregnant daughter and her family:
Reason to Blow Up the World

MARKHAM, Illinois (AP) — A suburban Chicago man is accused of setting an apartment fire — killing his pregnant daughter, her husband and their young child — because the son-in-law didn’t ask permission for the marriage, prosecutors said.

It took firefighters three hours to extinguish the blaze, which gutted the 36-unit Le Claire Station Apartments.

Subhash Chander, 57, of Oak Forest, Illinois, was ordered held without bond Tuesday on three counts of first-degree murder, one count of intentional homicide of an unborn child and one count of aggravated arson.

Prosecutors allege Chander used gasoline to start the fire late Saturday. The India native told police he disliked his son-in-law because he belonged to a lower caste and had married his daughter without his consent, said Cook County First Assistant State’s Attorney Robert Milan.

Milan identified the victims as 22-year-old Monika Rani, her 36-year-old husband, Rajesh Kumar, and their 3-year-old son, Vansh. Rani was five months pregnant, Milan said.

Chander told police the gasoline spilled during “a pushing match” with his son-in-law, Milan said. Chander also told police that he ignited the gas with a lighter because he was angry, Milan said.

But prosecutors said the victims may have been asleep. All other residents of the apartment building were able to escape, Milan said.

Why couldn’t he just do what most Americans do that don’t approve of their son-in-laws and just tell them how their daughter could have done better and offer to pay for the divorce.

Pregnant Mom Fatally Shot While Trick-Or-Treating With Kids:
Reason to Blow Up the World

CHICAGO — A 32-year-old pregnant woman with three small children was killed when she was caught in gang crossfire as she was entering her home on the South Side Wednesday night.

The woman, identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office as Leticia Barrera, 38 years old and seven months pregnant, was shot in the head in the 4800 block of South Seeley about 6:05 p.m., authorities said.

NBC5’s Lauren Jiggetts reported that family members said Barrera was standing in front of her home with her three children after coming home from trick-or-treating when she was shot. Police said they believed the woman was a victim of gang-related gunfire.

“We believe it’s gang-related, but the victim would be an unintended victim,” said Chicago police Capt. Edward Griffin.

The children, who were 2, 4 and 6 years old, were not hurt during the incident. The woman’s husband was in Florida, Jiggetts reported. Police said they were looking for two teenage boys who were described as wearing dark-hooded sweatshirts. One of the teenagers was wearing a mask.

Two lives lost over nothing because these thugs can’t handle anything without guns. The constitution guarantees the right to peaceably assemble. Gangs are anything but peaceful and should be eradicated.

4-Year-Old Fla. Boy Fatally Shoots Himself:
Reason to Blow Up the World:

A 4-year-old boy fatally shot himself in the head with a gun he found at home in a bedroom closet, authorities said.

Jovan Mitchell was playing with his 5-year-old cousin Sunday when he shot himself with the 9 mm semiautomatic pistol, Hillsborough County sheriff’s investigators said.

Investigators on Monday were still trying to determine who owned the gun and how the child got access to it, sheriff’s spokeswoman Debbie Carter said. She would not discuss details.

Police: Girl, 9, Fatally Shoots Brother:
Reason to Blow Up the World:

A 9-year-old girl accidentally shot and killed her 13-year-old brother while playing with a semiautomatic handgun that she found in her parents’ bedroom, according to police in this Chicago suburb.

The shooting was unintentional, but the parents might face charges for not having a trigger lock on the weapon, authorities said.

Authorities said the mother of the children had left the house for about a half-hour to visit a sick relative and the father was at work Friday when the children found the loaded, unlocked .380-caliber pistol on a bookshelf built into a headboard.

A short time later, while playing with her brother, the 4th-grade girl apparently pulled the trigger accidentally, striking him once in the chest. He died a short time later at a hospital.

Although it is legal to possess a handgun in Riverdale, police said no one in the house had the proper state firearm owner’s identification card.

Escaped Pit Bulls Attack Six in Illinois:
Reason to Blow Up the World:

A 10-year-old boy was in critical condition Sunday after three pit bulls escaped from a home and went on a rampage, attacking six people before police shot and killed the dogs, authorities said.

Neighbors said the attacks started late Saturday afternoon when children going door-to-door for a fundraiser arrived at the home of Scott Sword, 41, who owned the dogs.

The pit bulls attacked the two children, and when the dogs’ owner tried to stop them, the dogs turned on him and bit off his thumb, Nygren said. The boy’s father also tried to protect his son and was attacked. The dogs went after another neighbor as well.
